Uganda, officially the Republic of Uganda, is a landlocked country located in East Africa. It is bordered by Kenya, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Tanzania. The southern part of the country includes a substantial portion of Lake Victoria, and it lies within the Nile basin with a varied equatorial climate.
