The X-59 Quesst is an experimental supersonic research aircraft developed by Lockheed Martin for NASA’s Low-Boom Flight Demonstrator project. Its long, slender design is intended to reduce the loudness of sonic booms, allowing NASA to study public responses to quieter supersonic flight and support potential changes to overland supersonic-flight regulations.
