Violence is characterized as the use of physical force by humans to cause harm, pain, injury, or destruction to other living beings. The World Health Organization defines it as the intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or a community. It can result in psychological harm, maldevelopment, deprivation, or death.
