Stuxnet is a highly sophisticated malicious computer worm first uncovered in 2010, widely believed to be a jointly built cyber weapon by the United States and Israel. It was specifically designed to target and physically sabotage supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems within Iran's nuclear program.
