DOWTHERM™ SR-1 is a dyed, glycol-based heat-transfer fluid formulated with 95.5% ethylene glycol and industrial corrosion inhibitors. Mixed with water, it provides freeze protection below −50°C (−60°F) and burst protection below −73°C (−100°F), and is used in HVAC and other low-freezing-point water-based heat-transfer applications.
