Patagonia is a vast geographical region in southern South America that spans parts of Argentina and Chile. It encompasses the southern portion of the Andes mountain range, featuring dramatic glaciers, fjords, and temperate rainforests in the west, alongside expansive deserts, tablelands, and steppes to the east. The region is bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.
