NEO Surveyor is a planned NASA space-based infrared telescope designed to discover and characterize near-Earth asteroids and comets that could pose hazards to Earth. Managed by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the mission is intended to support planetary defense and is planned for launch in late 2027.
