David Nathaniel Philipps, commonly known as Dave Philipps, is an American journalist and national correspondent for The New York Times. He covers the military, veterans, war, and the Mountain West, and is the author of three nonfiction books. His reporting has earned two Pulitzer Prizes, including recognition for exposing the effects of repeated low-level blasts on U.S. troops.
