Archimedes is a reusable, liquid-fuel rocket engine designed by the aerospace company Rocket Lab to power its medium-lift Neutron rocket. It operates on an oxidizer-rich staged combustion cycle, burning liquid oxygen and liquid methane as propellants. The engine features highly 3D-printed components and successfully completed its first hot fire test in August 2024.
