West Bank

The West Bank is a landlocked territory located on the west bank of the Jordan River in the Levant region of West Asia. It is the larger of the two Palestinian territories that make up the State of Palestine, bordered by Jordan and the Dead Sea to the east, and by Israel to the south, west, and north. Since the 1967 Six-Day War, the territory has been under Israeli military occupation.
