The Waheela is a wolf-like cryptid reported to inhabit the wilderness of Alaska, Michigan, and Canada's Northwest Territories, particularly the Nahanni Valley. Described as a giant, heavily built white wolf with shorter hind legs and a wide head, it is often compared to prehistoric canids like the dire wolf or Amphicyonids (bear-dogs). Unlike typical wolves, it is reported to be a solitary hunter and is frequently associated with local folklore and unexplained decapitations in the region.
