Vimāna are mythological flying palaces or chariots described in Hindu texts and Sanskrit epics. They are depicted as aerial vehicles used by gods and deities, with the "Pushpaka Vimana" of Ravana being the most famous example. Similar flying vehicles are also mentioned in Jain texts.
