The Viking Row (Norwegian: Viking-roing) is a popular football chant and celebration performed by Norwegian sports supporters. It consists of fans making synchronized, exaggerated rowing movements in unison while shouting the Norwegian word for "row" ("ro") to the beat of a drum. The chant is typically initiated by the sounding of a traditional Norse blowing horn, known as a Gjallarhorn, which signals supporters to get into position.
