Vanaprastha
Topic
Vanaprastha is the third stage in the Chaturasrama system of human life in Hinduism, literally translating to 'way of the forest' or 'forest road'. It marks a transition from the duties of a householder (Grihastha) to a more retired, contemplative life focused on spiritual pursuits and gradual renunciation. During this stage, an individual hands over household responsibilities to the next generation and spends more time in solitude or simple living.
