The United States immigration court system, officially administered by the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), is a sub-agency of the Department of Justice. Its primary function is to conduct administrative removal proceedings and adjudicate immigration cases to determine the admissibility and removability of individuals within the United States.
