Pinealon is a synthetic neuroprotective tripeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence glutamate-aspartate-arginine (Glu-Asp-Arg or EDR). Developed by Russian biogerontologist Vladimir Khavinson, it is studied for its potential to regulate gene expression, stimulate central nervous system regeneration, and protect brain cells from oxidative stress and aging.
