Outer space, or simply space, is the vast expanse that exists beyond Earth's atmosphere and between celestial bodies. It is a near-perfect vacuum containing ultra-low densities of particles, primarily hydrogen and helium plasma, and is permeated by electromagnetic radiation, cosmic rays, and magnetic fields.
