Timothy Matthew Howard is an American former professional soccer goalkeeper who played for Manchester United, Everton, the Colorado Rapids, and the United States men's national team. Nicknamed the “Secretary of Defense,” he is regarded as one of the greatest American soccer players and later became an NBC Sports analyst.
