A tilt table is a specialized medical device used to perform a tilt table test, which evaluates how the body regulates blood pressure and heart rate in response to changes in position. The procedure is commonly used to diagnose conditions such as dysautonomia, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), and unexplained syncope (fainting). During the test, a patient is secured to the table, which is then tilted from a flat to an upright position while their vital signs are continuously monitored.
