The Eagle and Child is a historic pub in Oxford, England, famously known as the meeting place for the Inklings literary group, which included J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. Nicknamed the "Bird and Baby," the pub dates back to the 17th century and is currently owned by the Ellison Institute of Technology.
