Tanning
Topic
Tanning is the process whereby skin color is darkened, most commonly as a result of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from sunlight or artificial sources like tanning beds. It can also be achieved through sunless tanning products that use chemical agents to darken the skin without UV exposure. While often pursued as a cosmetic or recreational activity, UV tanning carries health risks, including skin damage and an increased risk of skin cancer.
