Sunburn
Topic
Sunburn is a form of radiation burn that affects living tissue, such as skin, resulting from overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, typically from the Sun. Common symptoms include red, painful skin that is hot to the touch, which may later lead to peeling, blistering, and swelling. Repeated overexposure to UV radiation increases the risk of other skin conditions, including secondary infections and skin cancer.
