Sudan, officially the Republic of the Sudan, is a country located in Northeast Africa. It is bordered by Egypt, Libya, Chad, the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and the Red Sea. As Africa's third-largest country by area, it has a rich history and a population of over 50 million people.
