Streaming television is the digital distribution of television media content, such as series and films, over Internet-based streaming media platforms. Unlike traditional over-the-air, cable, or satellite transmissions, it is delivered as an over-the-top (OTT) service. This model includes both original productions created specifically for streaming platforms and licensed content from other distributors.
