A space system, or spaceflight system, is a complex architecture consisting of a space segment, a ground segment, and sometimes a user segment, working together to support space missions. The space segment includes spacecraft, satellites, and launch vehicles, while the ground segment comprises the terrestrial infrastructure used to control, monitor, and receive data from the space assets. Together, these integrated components enable telecommunications, navigation, scientific research, and Earth observation.
