Samoans are the Indigenous Polynesian people of the Samoan Islands, an archipelago in Polynesia, who share a common language and culture. Their home islands are politically divided between the Independent State of Samoa and American Samoa, an unincorporated territory of the United States. Despite this political division, they maintain a unified cultural identity and heritage.
