The President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) is an advisory group chartered in each presidential administration to advise the President of the United States on science and technology. The council consists of distinguished individuals from the private sector, academia, and research communities who provide diverse perspectives on scientific and technological matters.
