Newtonian mechanics

Topic

Newtonian mechanics is a branch of physics that describes the motion of macroscopic objects under the influence of forces, based on the fundamental laws formulated by Sir Isaac Newton. It provides the mathematical framework for understanding everyday physical phenomena, such as the motion of planets, projectiles, and machinery. While highly accurate for objects moving at everyday speeds and scales, it is superseded by relativistic mechanics at speeds close to the speed of light and by quantum mechanics at atomic scales.
