Muse stem cells

Topic

A Muse cell (multi-lineage differentiating stress-enduring cell) is an endogenous, non-cancerous pluripotent stem cell found in the connective tissue of nearly every organ. They are highly stress-tolerant and can be isolated from mesenchymal cell populations, such as fibroblasts and bone marrow-mesenchymal stem cells, to differentiate into cells of all three germ layers.
