Minions is a 2015 American animated comedy film that serves as a prequel spin-off to the Despicable Me franchise. The story follows the small, yellow Minions as they search for a new villainous master to serve, eventually crossing paths with the ambitious supervillain Scarlet Overkill in 1960s London.
