Marvel Entertainment was an American entertainment company best known as the parent company of Marvel Comics. Formed in 1998 through the merger of Marvel Entertainment Group and Toy Biz, it operated as a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company until its operations were integrated into other Disney units in 2023.
