Lung cancer

Topic

Lung cancer, also known as lung carcinoma, is a malignant tumor that originates in the tissues of the lungs. It is primarily caused by genetic damage to the DNA of airway cells, often triggered by cigarette smoking or inhaling harmful chemicals. Without treatment, these damaged cells multiply uncontrollably, forming tumors that can impair lung function and eventually metastasize to other parts of the body.
