Light, or visible light, is electromagnetic radiation that can be perceived by the human eye. It spans the visible spectrum, typically defined by wavelengths in the range of 400 to 700 nanometers. In physics, the term can also refer more broadly to electromagnetic radiation of any wavelength, whether visible or not.
