Liberia, officially the Republic of Liberia, is a country located on the West African coast. It is bordered by Sierra Leone, Guinea, Ivory Coast, and the Atlantic Ocean. Founded in the early 19th century by the American Colonization Society, it is Africa's oldest modern republic.
