Leveraged ETF
Topic
A leveraged exchange-traded fund (LETF) is a marketable security that uses financial derivatives and debt to amplify the daily returns of an underlying index or asset class. Unlike traditional ETFs, which typically track their underlying assets on a one-to-one basis, leveraged ETFs aim for a 2:1 or 3:1 daily return ratio, making them highly volatile and primarily suited for short-term trading.
