Jennifer Tour Chayes

Jennifer Tour Chayes is dean of the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society at the University of California, Berkeley, where she is also a professor of electrical engineering and computer sciences. She is known for research on phase transitions in discrete mathematics and computer science, as well as networks and related areas of mathematical and computational science. Before joining Berkeley, she founded and led Microsoft Research laboratories in New England and New York City.
