J. Marshall Shepherd is an American meteorologist and the Georgia Athletic Association Distinguished Professor of Geography at the University of Georgia, where he directs the university’s atmospheric sciences program. A former NASA scientist and president of the American Meteorological Society, he is known for his work on weather, climate, and public engagement with science.
