Igagai is a demiurge and creator figure in the mythology of the indigenous Pirahã people of the Amazon Basin. According to Pirahã belief, Igagai is responsible for the creation and recreation of the world, the creation of animals, and is associated with celestial phenomena, such as the full moon being interpreted as his oven for toasting manioc flour.
