Hypoxia
Topic
Hypoxia is a medical condition in which the body or a specific region of it is deprived of an adequate oxygen supply at the tissue level. It can be classified as generalized, affecting the entire body, or local, affecting a specific organ or region. While often pathological, variations in oxygen levels can also occur during normal physiological activities such as strenuous exercise.
