Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC) is the study of collaborative processes in which human and robot agents work together to achieve shared goals. This interdisciplinary field spans classical robotics, human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and process design to enable robots to function as capable team members in environments like homes, hospitals, and manufacturing. It focuses on establishing safe, efficient, and intuitive interactions between humans and collaborative robots (cobots).
