Hero syndrome, also commonly known as a hero complex, is a psychological phenomenon in which a person seeks recognition and admiration by creating or finding situations where they can act as a savior. This behavior often manifests in professional or personal settings, where the individual may deliberately cause a crisis only to resolve it and claim credit for the rescue.
