Ground Zero, also known as the World Trade Center site, is a 14.6-acre area in Lower Manhattan, New York City, where the original World Trade Center complex stood before being destroyed in the September 11 terrorist attacks. Today, the redeveloped site features the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, One World Trade Center, and several other rebuilt office towers.
