GeoStar was a satellite-navigation technology company founded in the 1980s and associated with entrepreneur Martine Rothblatt. It developed and commercialized satellite-based navigation and positioning services, based on technology invented by physicist Gerard K. O’Neill; Rothblatt later left GeoStar to create Sirius Satellite Radio.
