Gawker Media
Organization
Gawker Media was an American digital media company and blog network founded by Nick Denton in 2003. It served as the parent company for several prominent weblogs, including Gawker, Gizmodo, Deadspin, Lifehacker, Kotaku, Jalopnik, and Jezebel. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2016 following a major invasion-of-privacy lawsuit funded by billionaire Peter Thiel.
