Frederic Stanley Mishkin is an American economist and the Alfred Lerner Professor of Banking and Financial Institutions at Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. He served as a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors from 2006 to 2008 and is known for his research on monetary policy, financial markets, and the aggregate economy.
