Francis Crick was a British molecular biologist, biophysicist, and neuroscientist, best known for co-discovering the structure of the DNA molecule in 1953. He was awarded the 1962 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine and later made significant contributions to theoretical neurobiology at the Salk Institute.
