Factor 1 Psychopath
Topic
A Factor 1 psychopath refers to an individual who predominantly exhibits the interpersonal and affective traits of psychopathy as measured by the Hare Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R). Often equated with "primary psychopathy," these traits include superficial charm, grandiosity, pathological lying, manipulation, lack of remorse, shallow affect, and a profound lack of empathy. Unlike Factor 2 traits, which focus on social deviance and impulsive behavior, Factor 1 traits represent the core personality and emotional deficits of the psychopathic construct.
