The Examination of Anomalous Self-Experience (EASE) is a phenomenologically oriented, semi-structured clinical interview and symptom checklist for assessing disturbances of subjective self-experience. Developed for research and clinical evaluation in schizophrenia-spectrum and psychotic disorders, it examines experiential anomalies across domains such as cognition, self-awareness, bodily experience, and the sense of presence.
