The cortico-basal ganglia-thalamo-cortical loop (CBGTC loop) is a system of neural circuits in the brain that connects the cerebral cortex, basal ganglia, and thalamus. This pathway plays a crucial role in regulating motor control, cognitive processes, and emotional behavior.
