David George Haskell is a British and American biologist and writer who is an adjunct professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Emory University. He is known for books that explore the relationships among biology, ecology, and the living world, including The Forest Unseen and The Songs of Trees, and has twice been a Pulitzer Prize finalist in General Nonfiction.
